As summer begins, Carleton Memorial United Church will be taking our usual break from weekly Sunday services. This time of rest and renewal is part of our yearly rhythm, and we look forward to gathering again in worship when services resume on Sunday, September 7.

Even though we won’t be meeting for services, the life of the church continues in other ways. Merry Lee will be hosting a summer potluck in July — a lovely chance for members of the congregation to catch up, share a meal, and enjoy fellowship in a relaxed setting. If you’d like more information about attending, please reach out to the church office or speak with someone on the Board.

Meanwhile, our search committee will be continuing their important work throughout the summer, as we look ahead with hope and anticipation to welcoming a new minister. We are deeply grateful to the committee members for their time, care, and commitment to this process.

We wish everyone a peaceful and joyful summer season, and we look forward to coming together again in the fall with renewed energy and spirit.
