SUMMARY:Turkey Dinner
DESCRIPTION:You and your family and friends are invited to our annual Turkey Dinner on Saturday October 25th. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and grace will be said at 6 pm followed by tables being called up for food service. Tickets are limited to 80 and can be reserved and/or paid for in advance with Erin Linnen (613-224-3761). Take-out orders for adults will be available if arranged for in advance and picked up at 5:00 pm. The menu includes a delicious 3-course turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Musical entertainment will follow the meal while tea\, coffee and dessert are enjoyed. \nTickets are $30 per adult and $15 for youth 8-10 years. Children 7 years and under eat for free\, but tickets must be reserved in advance and when each is accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Once again this year\, we’re gathering fresh produce from home gardens for our Cornucopia display. Please bring your contributions to the church by Saturday morning of Thanksgiving weekend. \nWe’re also inviting donations of non-perishable goods every Sunday leading up to—and including—Thanksgiving Sunday\, which will be delivered to Debra Dynes. \nThis year we also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the first CMUC service\, originally held in the fall of 1950 at Carleton Heights Public School. \nTo mark the occasion\, consider joining the fun by wearing 1950s-style attire—hats and gloves encouraged! \nHave another creative idea to honour this milestone? We’d love to hear it.
